Relationship between Perceived Teacher Support and Student Engagement in Physical Education: A Systematic Review

چکیده
Student engagement is an essential indicator of educational quality and instability behavior influenced by teachers. However, research on how teacher support influences this behavioral outcome in physical education has started late compared to academic settings. Hence, systematic review aims examine the empirical literature regarding relationship between perceived student education. This complied with PRISMA statement ultimately found 11 eligible studies through utilizing several databases, namely, Web Science, SCOPUS, PsycINFO, ERIC, SPORTDiscus. The results revealed a significant positive multiple dimensions education, especially emotional engagement. Mediating effects were five studies, autonomous motivation psychological need satisfaction crucial mediators. Teacher plays vital role student–teacher interactions students demonstrate enhanced learning when teachers provide autonomy, competence, support. study great significance for developing instructional strategies improve sustainability also provides insight researchers exploring options optimizing motivational teaching styles promote development sustainable practices.
